この日は、一昨日急遽この週末に別荘のある城辺にくるという連絡が会った、親会社の常務の接待となった。
今週末は3連休。ゆっくりと釣りをするぞ～～と意気込んでいたのだが、この電話を受けた後意気消沈。と落ち込んでいてもしょうがないので、こうなったら徹底的に接待を！！と思い、
11時頃松山空港まで迎えに。 飛行機到着後、松山のヨット工房を見学したいと、すぐさま池川ヨット工房へ。私は船は得意だが、ヨットは全く素人。実は中を見たこともないのです。
だから、興味津々で、ついて行きました（笑） まずヨット工房の製作工場で話をし、ヨットの専門用語が飛び交う中話を聞くのが精一杯。何より驚いたのは、このヨット、制作は一人で行っていると言うことと、素材が、マホガニーを合板のように交互にエポキシ樹脂で貼り合わせて作っていると言うこと。とても軽い素材にびっくりしました。 船の感覚とは全く別次元の話にとても楽しかったです。
その後港へヨットを見るため移動。 これまた想像していたヨットよりもものすごくスケールが大きく、セール？もたくさんありすごかったです。ヨットの室内って意外と広いんですね。
今回改めてヨットもいいなぁと思いました。
